4 Varsity Athletes Receive Section XI Recognition Awards

The following 4 varsity athletes received recognition through Section XI at Monday nights Suffolk County awards dinner hosted at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook, NY. Congratulations to our Varsity athletes!

Elizabeth Holden-Academic All County

Elizabeth holds one of the highest GPA’s on our squad while also being one of the most experienced athletes on Varsity. She is currently a senior captain who just completed her 4th year on SWRVC as a back spot. Elizabeth was not able to attend the county awards dinner, but she will be recognized for her success and dedication to our program at the teams end of season celebration being held on Saturday.

Juliana Lautato-All Division

Juliana was acknowledged as one of our top athletes across the Large Varsity division this year. She is a captain in her 3rd year on Varsity as a Junior on our squad. Juliana’s energetic presence on the mat and dedication to our team played a big role in the outcome of the teams success this season. She will be heading into her 4th year on Varsity next season as an athlete to watch out for.

Jillian Trentowski-All County

Jillian “Nugget” Trentowski is in her 4th year on Varsity as a junior and a captain to our squad. She was awarded as a top Suffolk County athlete due to her experience and skills across the board in the sport of cheerleading. Jillian took on a new position this season as a main base (from starting off as a flyer the past 3 years). Her versatile efforts helped our teams achievements this past season.

Katelyn Dawson-All County

Katelyn Dawson is also in her 4th year on Varsity as a Junior and a captain. She is the most elite tumbler in our program with a running full, and she is also our most experienced flyer. Katie was awarded a top Suffolk County athlete as well for her elite skills and vast knowledge in both the team and our sport. The Varsity team also received an award for our squad for winning a Suffolk County Championship title for the 2021-2022 season.
