Varsity seniors attend Nfinity Athletics college recruitment event

On July 9th & 10th, 4 of our incoming varsity seniors traveled to Wayne, New Jersey for the Nfinity Athletic Cheerleading College Combine. Over 20 colleges and universities from across the country came together to scout out some new athletes for their programs. SWR cheerleaders Katelyn Dawson, Juliana Lautato, Gabrielle Ziegler, and Jillian Trentowski spent a long 2 days showcasing their skills in hopes to get recognized by a college coach.

The athletes had an early start each day and presented stunting skills, tumbling skills, and agility training over the course of both days. All 4 of our athletes were scouted by some great college programs and are now in contact with a number of coaches who showed interest in them.

Multiple doors to new opportunities opened for these SWR cheerleaders and we are excited to see where it leads them!
